Butternut Squash Soup with Homemade Rye Bread

Last year we came back from a weekend in Dorset, and Dave’s Dad Trevor gave us a massive marrow from his garden. Dave made a  Lebanese style stuffed marrow.

This year we were kindly given a butternut squash and we decided that we would best appreciate it in form of a soup.

I took a Jame Oliver Recipe as basis for this recipe and I thought that it would best be accompanied by some German Multiseed Rye Bread.
